There are 30 children in our class, 13 girls and 17 boys. We have learnt that in the old days we would have been called Standard 2, 3 and 4. We all get on pretty well together.
Our teacher is Mr Bowdler, also called Mr B, and he says that we are the “Bees knees” which means that he thinks we are pretty cool.
Our class motto is “To be the best”, and our goal as a class this year is to take more responsibility, be more independent, and improve however we can.
We also each set our own school goals to work towards.
Some things we enjoy at school are singing, sports, the arts, going to the library and Mr B reading to us. We think our playground is fun too and we like the big trees at Parklands.
Lots of us are involved with different hobbies and activities.
Most of us enjoy reading, art, computers and sports, and some of the activities we enjoy include, rugby, netball, soccer, miniball, horse riding, bike riding, tramping, and martial arts.
We think that the most important thing in the world is people and we always try to remember the three R’s in our room. Respect for others, Respect for ourselves and Respect for property.
